The Avantis Superior / greenteQ iQ Bi-Directional Hook Window Gearbox has been designed to suit modern uPVC window systems. The shootbolt window gearbox offers extreme security using two centre hook bolts that retract into the centre gearbox when open but protrude out and into the frame keep when locked.

It is fitted centrally and connects either side to separate extension shootbolt rods. As the centre gearbox is the part that operates these lock bolts and connects to the window handle it is normally this part that eventually fails. Replacement of this Avantis Superior / greenteQ iQ Bi-Directional Hook Window Gearbox will restore the window to full working order and you can re-use the existing shootbolts with no issue.
