Spilka Espag Rod

An espag rod is the gearing on the inside of your window which is operated by a spindle drive handle.

Spilka Industri can supply both individual components and complete espagnolette systems adapted to different types of windows. We have solutions for both top-swing, top hinged, side swing and side-hinged windows.

The systems consists of the following components:

- The end keeps are available in plastic or steel, and one must choose a type suitable to profile, design, and dimension of the rod. Our end keep provide good function and efficient installation.
- The guides are available in plastic or steel options relative to the profile material and design and the thickness of the espanolette rod. The guides ensure effective function of the espag. system including security and weather tightness.
- Rods are made of 5x10mm steel. They are stocked in 750mm lengths and can also be cut to the required length.
- Lock boxes deliveres either adapted to 7 mm or 8 mm pin on the handle. The shape is a circle sector of rational routing in the frame.
- Handles for this system may be provided by Spilka. We can also supply handles with flap that can be used separately because they provide direct connection between the frame and sash.
