FUHR 871 Type 8 Emergency Exit Lock

For use on PVC, aluminium, composite and timber doors

The FUHR 871 Type 8 emergency exit multipoint door lock features 2 steel round bolts, latch and deadbolt. The door lock is capable of meeting the requirements of EN 1125 (applies to public buildings or other premises where occupants may not be familiar with exit routes and hardware devices) and EN 179 (applies to non-public buildings and potentials users have been fully trained on how to use the door). 
*In order to comply with these standards, the lock must be used with an approved free movement cylinder and panic bar*

The 871, when unlocked at the cylinder, allows entry by means of the lever from the outside. In order to fully secure the door from the outside the door must be locked. Access from the inside is always available. This is ideal for emergency exit doors which are in regular use during the day, but need to be secured at night.

There are more handle options with the FUHR 871, including a specific lever / lever, the internal lever can be replaced with a push bar or lever (this will only achieve EN 179 for non-public buildings and potentials users have been fully trained on how to use the door). For handing purposes the FUHR 871 is always viewed from the outside.
